The Cash Book module gives you the necessary facilities to provide planning and control of your cash resources. It provides up to the minute financial information independent of the status of the other IMAS ledgers.
Cash Book allows a degree of tailoring to suit individual company requirements, facilities the periodic reconciliation and auditing functions, which are essential for sound financial management.
The Integration of the Cash Book Module
The Cash Book module has optional interfaces to IMAS General Ledger, Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable which provide for the posting of creditors cheques and debtors receipts to Cash Book, and the generation of Cash Book journals for the General Ledger, with immediate update of the cash position and transaction history.
This position is maintained independently of the status of postings to the General Ledger with full conciliation being completed upon bank statement processing and updating of journals to the General Ledger.
