IMAS Corporate Software recently announced
the introduction of the most recent version of IMAS –
IMAS M12.
From 1st April 2006, version M12 will
be commercially available. For those who are currently under
the IMAS Annual Maintenance program, should receive their
upgrade within the 1st two weeks of April 2006.
IMAS M12
has the following technologically advanced features:

Enhanced to
Automatic Purchase Orders: Now you can get the system to validate the
quantity against the minimum order quantity of suppliers as
well as internal conditions.
Purchase Orders
for non-inventory items: You could raise the POs for office supplies and
other non-trading items.
Expansion of Barcode usage:
Print documents with barcodes to identify inventory
locations, batch numbers and expiry dates, in addition to
the item code.
Copy facility for POs: Order
lines of previous orders could be copied to new orders to
avoid user errors and improve efficiency.
Tracking of order status:
Complete audit trail of the order processing system. E.g.
for an order, you could see who did what and when?
Enhancement to picking slip: Printing of picking slips can be done
according to the route number sequence. This will allow
you to do the loading plan according to the "first-in"
"last-out" basis.
Flexible order entry: Items in
multiple warehouses can be allocated to a single sales
order.
Price and budget changes: Now
you can do the pricing and budgeting on Excel and upload to
IMAS.
Enhanced search facility:
Customers could be searched by their territory, route
number, address, phone, fax, e-mail in addition to the name.
Flexible statement Period:
Statements can be printed for different periods, as
pre-defines by customers.
Additional contact details :
E-mail addresses can be recorded with the other contact
details of the customers.
Printing on cut-form
sheets :
Now you could use A4 sheets to print bank deposit slips,
customer statements, remittance advices, stock receipts,
invoices, picking slips, credit notes, POs, inventory
issues, receipts, transfers, adjustments, etc
