Users will also have options on the database to make it either an open source database through MY SQL or other databases like Microsoft's SQL Sever or IBM's Universal Database. This flexibility not only offers operational convenience but also a corporate edge in data accessibility. IMAS Open will also adapt to most hardware environments be it a PC or an iSeries, as all it needs is a machine that could run Linux or Windows, making this solution a sound long term investment.
